Derek brings more than 25 years of experience as an architect, developer, builder, entrepreneur, and housing advocate in Los Angeles. His work has focused on expanding housing production across a wide range of types, including affordable and mixed-income multifamily communities, small lot subdivisions, accessory dwelling units, modular housing, and other forms of “missing middle” housing. Derek earned his Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
